It’s such a great feeling when I can see the finish line to this book. I’m so close! I’m hoping to have this book completely done by next week, and then I will share the title, and start working on the the new cover.
I received this amazing review from ClassicPink’s Black Crime Fiction blog! It was truly one of my favorite reviews I have received so far.
My lemon balm and mint plants are finally growing! Pretty soon, I’ll have to transfer them to larger pots, or just put them in the ground altogether. Unfortunately, the eucalyptus never made it, so I’ll have to try again.

This Week’s Movies

I’ll have to go check that review. 🙂 And bummer about the eucalyptus- good luck going forward!
I watched an old movie this past week- City Beneath the sea. It wasn’t very good but It was fun to get back into vintage movieing!
Old movies can be hit or miss. I’ve been looking specifically for ones that are labelled ‘film noir.’ I’ve found a lot of great gems!
How exciting to be close to being done! And a great review too! I need to finish the book I’m working on, I thought I was close but my characters are dragging it out more than I planned. Then I’ll have to go back and edit I guess! Hope you have a good week!

Thank you! Yes, sometimes I hate when that happens, when you feel like you are so close to the end, but the characters have more to say/do! But you’ll get there. Just keep chugging along, one page at a time. Have a great week!
I’m almost done with the book I’m writing too and I can’t wait to finish it!
That’s wonderful! And I’m so stoked about your inclusion in the anthology!
Angela Lansbury – so young in that film.
Haha! Yes, it was so bizarre watching her in that film being a seductive femme fatale! lol
