Happy Fourth of July!
It’s been a productive two weeks. Last week, I attended a reader convention and participated in a booksigning. It was amazing, and I am planning to attend again next year. I went around the convention doing a little guerrilla marketing with The Arrangement, introducing new readers to me and my book. I gave out about 25-30 free paperback copies at the convention. I’m hoping these readers will become lifelong Tootsie fans. It was wonderful to meet new readers and connect with old friends there.
It’s been raining everyday this week, and this entire holiday weekend is calling for more rain. But that won’t stop the neighbors from shooting off fireworks in the middle of a monsoon. The weather is a bummer, so, I might have to just restrict my fireworks-watching on TV and make some burgers with my mini Foreman grill. And of course, the holiday means more writing progress!
