This was a week of de-stressing after the tumulus US election/inauguration season. Now that the past is behind us, we can move forward with the future. I feel a great weight lifted off my chest. The anxiety has been crazy these past few weeks. What’s happened this week is only the first step to progress. Now, we have to keep moving forward.
In my writing adventures, I submitted my application to join the Private Eye Writers of America. I’ve been considering it for a while, and finally made the big leap. It seemed like a fun little organization to join.
The audiobook production for Tootsie’s story is already underway! I’m stoked to be able to hear her story come to life.
I’ve sent my manuscript to the printers, and I will be getting the final version done through Ingram. The book will be mass-market paperback size. I’m really excited to see how it looks with it printed on the groundwood paper. The paper is very soft to the touch, and feels identical to a traditionally-published mass-market paperback. Once I am satisfied with things, I will be getting more printed to be sent out as ARCs.
Everything is slowly coming together, and I can’t wait to share Tootsie’s story with the world.
